My comments on tutoring Journalism : This was my major in college.... strong skills due to marketing career.

I have extensive experience in writing/composition from years in marketing and public relations. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a highly-experienced speaker and tutor of German with 4.5 years of tutoring experience. As a teenager, I attended the annual Statewide German Competition in San Antonio, TX, competing in various fields such as sight-reading, writing, comprehension, and conversation. I scored in the 90th percentile on the National Exam for three consecutive years; in 2011, I received the highest score in the state of Texas. In 2010, I was able to travel to Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, for a six-month study abroad program, where I lived with a German family and attended school to achieve an immersive experience. As a college student, I took many courses highlighting grammar structure and the writing styles of APA and MLA. As a student, I held part time jobs as a nanny for three children and a high school athletic coach for Gilmour Academy. In these positions I was able to learn the most efficient ways to work with elementary level children and teenagers preparing for college.
