I have 27 years of experience teaching and case managing public school special education students in grades 9-12. I have also team-taught a wide variety of "regular ed" classes, such as English, Math, Science, Social Studies, even Home Ec.! I do not have a particular style of teaching. I prefer to talk to the individual I am tutoring and together discover the best way to teach them the subject material. I believe that everyone learns information at a different pace and that some information is easier to process than other information. I believe that individuals should be comfortable while learning in order for them to actually learn. I would never force someone to learn "my way" and would work with them on developing a way that works for both of us.
