Everybody learns differently, and I vary my teaching style to meet the individual learning needs of the person whom I am tutoring. One major constant of my teaching style, though, is that I heavily emphasize repetition in one manner or another. Having assisted with homeschooling my brother for the last five years, I have extensive experience in tutoring. At Adult Basic and Literature Education, I serve as a math and grammar tutor in the GED and ESOL programs. Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. For five years, I was a substitute teacher for grades K-5 in English as a Second Language, Special Education and Art classes.
