A Little Bit About Me...

I have had intensive study at Case Western Reserve, mostly in chemistry (general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and physical chemistry), but I know many other subjects and I am proficient in them. I have good understanding of biology, microbiology, biochemistry and physiology. I'm pretty strong in math as well, going all the way up to calculus. I help teach my little siblings who are homeschooled and have experience teaching others who are outside of my family. Teaching information and giving examples that are relavent to the student's life and experiences help teach the student that learning is important.The advances in technology and utilizing these resources are very important. I began my career as a HS chemistry teacher in Lowville, NY. I taught for 3 years and then returned to graduate school where I was a teaching assisitant. I have been and adjunct professor at both the Univ of Vermont (1989 EE Dept) and Mercyhurst college (2003 Erie PA Chem Dept)and taught college level courses. I became a consultant in 1995 and also became a certified instructor for the Nat'l Assn of Surface Finishers (NASF) for various courses relating to plating and environmental science. These courses are designed at the HS/1st yr college level and often require additional explanation to students.
