My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : Reading comprehension is a tough skill that is used throughout English. As an English teacher, I understand several tactics and tricks that students can use in order to help with their reading comprehension so that they can succeed.

I am a very hands-on learner, so I tend to try to make things as hands on or as real to life as possible.
Since graduating from Baptist Bible College in 2006, I have been teaching high school English in Indiana for six years now. I taught three years at Bethesda Christian School in Brownsburg, where I spanned English 9, 10, 11, Senior Speech, and Advanced Composition for seniors. In 2010 I began teaching at Faith Christian School in Lafayette; there I taught English 9, 10, and 11. I was also the Yearbook Advisor two years at Faith. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have worked with reading comprehension remediation for almost thirty years. Nearly all of my students have improved enough to easily comprehend and pass state standardized tests.

I have taught nearly all areas of language arts including, but not limited to, ECA/GQE remediation, SAT/ACT prep, beginning-intermediate-advance composition, AP English/literature, poetry, American literature, British literature, drama, speech, and school newspaper.
