Completed small computer systems course in the United States Marine Corps in 1999. Self-taught html while in the Marine Corps. Completed Computer Networking and Hardware course at Computer Tutor in 2002. Passed Computer Hardware & Assembly course with a B at Columbia College in Sonora, CA (2008-2009). After earning my BS in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, I decided to live abroad in South America as a Peace Corps Volunteer to help others and put what I learned to practical use. I was stationed in Bolivia where I taught natural resource management, ecology, basic science, and nutrition to children as well as adults. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. In high school, I also tutored elementary school children and enjoyed it greatly.
