A Little Bit About Me...

I would consider my teaching style to be very organic and adaptable. I consider each student individually, and I evaluate what works best for that student in particular. I am trained in various forms of teaching, and I have a complete understanding of the various learning personalities and characteristics of students that I have worked with and will work with in the future.
I began mentoring students during my tenure at Regis High School, a private, full-scholarship-only high school in New York City at the age of 17. After attending Villanova University and Fordham University's Graduate School of Business Administration, I began tutoring part-time with Studypoint. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching philosophy revolves around the notion that students need respect, encouragement, and guidance to succeed in all of their academic endeavors. I believe the best way to inspire students is by conveying our own passion for the subject through out attitude of reverence for the written word, our knowledge of literature and writing, and our confidence in our own skills as educators. I believe all students can learn to write well when given a relaxed environment where they can learn to express themselves in their own literary voices.
As a college and high school English instructor, I have had the opportunity to teach and tutor students on many different levels.
