I feel that I do my best work with Elementary age children. I like to make education fun and easily accessible. I love using games and hands on activities to teach lessons. My 5th grade teacher made such an impact on me that I have kept her on as a huge part of my life and I want to be that way with my students. I firmly believe it is important to adapt to the students individual learning style and habits, therefore, my style is to adjust to the best method necessary in order to achieve success while learning. Many students are visual learners and prefer a hands on experience, whereas others could prefer oral, written or other teaching techniques in order to process the information. A Little Bit About Me...

It has always been a passion of mine to work with and educate young children and youth. I began tutoring at a Elementary School for a few hours when I was in high school as well as assisted other children with math and reading on an as needed basis. When I was away at undergrad school, I was able to work with local Elementary children, but it was not on a consistent basis. Once I graduated from Undergrad, I returned home and began tutoring with my church and volunteered to work with the Sr. Youth Ministry as well. During this time period I also worked with two different tutoring companies.
