My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Trigonometry is the in-depth analysis of triangle ratios, and the unfortunately reality is that most curricula is awful. Every aspect of Trig has a visual representation, and we should use it! Let me help you make the connections by animating the unit circle, illustrating identities, graphing functions, and more!

I prefer personal and small group teaching, but I can also do online tutoring with Webex. I like to get to know my students and their goals. I use strategic questions to help guide students to the right answer without giving the answer directly to them. This allows the student to develop their own sense of logic when approaching problems so that when test time comes, they will be able to ask themselves questions similar to what I ask during tutoring sessions and help figure out the answer step by step. Most of my experience has been as an engineer. I have worked on projects in Europe, Asia, and all over North America. I got involved tutoring high school students while my sons were in high school.
