My comments on tutoring Marine Biology : I took a semester of Marine Biology and received a strong 3.5 in the class.

I always liked playing up my quirky personality. My favorite teachers and professors were the goofy ones, the ones who can relate to the students' fun side. These teachers also challenged me the most, and I ended up getting so much more out of the course. I figure that, if a student likes the teacher, he or she will pay more attention and have a deeper respect for the teacher. The teacher then can use this trust to push the student a little more, intellectually. I find that is what works best for me.
I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. I recently graduated from the University of Texas double majoring in History and Biology. I have worked as a biology teacher for a freshman year biology course. My specialty was marine biology, and I have lots of experience in field and laboratory research, which has influenced my love for science. History started as a hobby and turned into a passion of mine.

A Little Bit About Me...

Biology and the life sciences are as interesting to me now as when I was in the fifth grade. My education is in microbiology which I have applied in the agrigricultural industry, diabetes research, and pharmaceutical diagnostics.
