A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's degree in acturial science and have studied extensively for acturarial exams. My studies have enabled me to master both higher- and lower-level mathematics and statistics. My background in paid tutoring includes College Algebra, Elementary statistics and statistical methods, but I've also helped classmates understand physics and chemistry classes. These classes came easy to me, and I feel I am a natural fit for tutoring these subjects as well. I love to learn and everyone learns differently. I believe that if the information is not being understood one way, then we need to find another way to instruct. Hands-on learning and learning through experience always leaves a lasting impression. Just memorizing facts, although in some cases that is necessary, it is just not fun for all students and just may not stick unless learned in a fun way. I want to make learning fun because no one should ever stop learning. There is just too much out there to sit back and let life pass you by.
