I have more than 10 years teaching experience. During this time I have taught at universities, public and private schools. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have taught phonics and reading comprehension in the classroom.

I prefer the Socratic method of asking/answering questions and discussion, but I am more than capable of diverting to a more lecture style of teaching if that is what works with the student. I tailor my teaching style to the strengths of the student.
I am a teacher with 7 years of classroom experience. My degree is in English, but I have taught in many other areas, including math, history, logic, and rhetoric.
