I am comfortable teaching at all levels of both the cognitive and affective domains. I enjoy working one on one with students and tailoring lesson plans to help the student get the most out of a class. I typically introduce a concept or principle, describe why the principle is important, provide a variety of illustrations, then let the student try some exercises. My experience ranges a great deal and encompasses a lot of subject matter from K-12 Math to English and Literature. My wide range of expertise is indicative of my schooling where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications that exposed me to the Liberal Arts world; while my minor in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Master of Science degree in Information Technology exposed me to more technical subject matter (i.e. various levels of Math). My professional experience has been divided almost equally between teaching and administrative jobs. I have approximately ten years of teaching experience including employment as an adjunct instructor in a college-level Intensive English Program, a business education teacher in a large public high school and a junior-high English teacher at a small Christian school.
