I have tutored my little cousins with their homework before & also in summer camp activities with kids in general! I love to help out with anything I have knowledge in. A Little Bit About Me...

Hello! I am a full time ESL teacher that really enjoys the Spanish language. I lived in Mexico for a year and a half with Mexican families where I took intensive Spanish classes. Being submerged in the language and culture is the best way to learn! I studied Spanish in Costa Rica as well as took classes in undergrad so I have a good working knowledge of the language and enjoy passing my knowledge along. I am a bi-linual tutor. I have worked for the migrant education program in the federal programs department of the Jonesboro Public School district since August of 2008. Before that I taught ELL courses for Brookland Public Schools. I was adult education tutor for student support services at Arkansas State University and East Arkansas Community College. I have taught two Spanish Courses to high school students for the Arkansas Upward Bound program.
My style of teaching is very associative. I like to take any material that my student is trying to learn and present it in a way they can relate to, or may apply to them directly.
