I believe children should feel comfortable in an academic setting and believe that they can succeed. It is important to help students develop a positive attitude towards life long learning.
I have had a passion for education since I was a third grade student. I always thought I wanted to be a teacher "when I grew up." I earned a BA in psychology and started a Master's program in elementary education. Due to personal circumstances, however, I was not able to complete the program.
