A Little Bit About Me...

As a member of the Wellesley community and past student at St. Sebastians school, I have learned to achieve at an extremely high level of education. My teachers have showed me how to succeed in school and strive for the best. I have been extremely interested in Music and the arts for many years now. I would enjoy working with children as for I work very well with them.
I enjoy working with kids of all ages very much. As my summer job, I teach children from ages 4 to 21 how to play tennis. This has helped make me the person I am today in many ways. I am very patient and easy going and I am considerate of others as well. I am confident in my abilities and I think I would be a great fit for you as a teacher, friend, or mentor.

I have worked hard over many years to asses the needs of individual students. Firstly, I assess the learning level and learning style of the student over the first week or two. Secondly, I approach the teaching style according to those findings. Thirdly, I assess the progress of the student in relation to the teaching style and make any necessary changes in approach. I teach students to look at (analyze) the music to find similarities, likenesses and problem spots. The results are excellent in seeing that the learner remembers lessons and instruction. The learning is long lasting and even permanent.
As a composer and performer, with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Theory and Composition, I have always sought to teach music from the bottom up.
