I have worked with children of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings throughout high school, college and as a certified Elementary Education Teacher and Reading Specialist for the past seven years. Currently, I am on maternity leave and am looking to provide tutoring services in the areas of Reading, Writing and Mathematics. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I was employeed at New Covenant Charter School during the 2009-2010 school year. I implemented Guided Reading using Fountas and Pinnell's theory. I also was able to implement Lucy Calkin's Units of Study for the writing program.
