As a 20 year teacher, I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and situations. I enjoy finding ways to help learners accomplish things that they thought were just impossible a few weeks earlier. While, I have worked with all students from K 12 . My primary area has been middle school. With that mentioned, I do online tutoring for students of all ages.
I have a classroom in my apartment actually because I used to teach students in China until the Ministry of education changed. As a result, I have close to four years experience in online teaching with a hardwire Internet connection and lights. I also have a few classroom props that I enjoy using. When teaching, I want to instill in each child a love for learning. I do this, first of all, by setting the mood of the classroom - meaning, I make it conducive for learning with an attitude of happiness and respect for each child; believing that I can find attributes that I like about each child, and making the atmosphere pleasant, cozy, and fun.
