I taught English as a second language to adults in Fes, Morocco for two years and taught kindergarten through high school in Seoul, Korea for 10 years. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : Dr. Suess among others are outstanding for teaching reading to children.

I am honored to have been able to help different populations from the pre-K in reading to the elderly in computer basics. I am fortunate in the ability to pick up on the needs of individuals and how to adapt to their learning styles. I invest in behind the scenes research for best tools to aid the student using her or his strengths. I often find myself in conversations helping two parties understand each other, or helping an individual understand material.
One of my greatest strengths is bringing enjoyment to the learning - finding connections with the interests of the student and the subject matter. The student begins to take on his/her own next level of independence and pride.
