I am currently a senior in high school and will graduate in the spring of 2013; I have no job experience, but have worked with tutoring my nieces and nephews. I know that my ways of helping my nieces and nephews will help others because I have witnessed first hand how much they have learned due to my teachings. I am easy going and love to teach students and children new things that will help them to understand subjects they are learning.

Drawing is one of my top subjects! I have been drawing with various types of pencil since about the ninth grade. I can't exactly explain why but drawing seemed to come to me as naturally as breathing. As with Sketchup, I have learned several methods for drawing over many years that most will find very beneficial to drawing an accurate likeness, especially with regard to portraiture of people and pets.

My experiences come from a mix of studies and real life application. I have studied various forms of writing, from professional, creative, and argumentative; these include gather sources and properly citing them in both MLA and APA formats. I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.
