I am what you might call a camp kid. I grew up spending summers in the mountains, camping and hiking and when I grew older, working. The foundation of my leadership experience was built in the forrest. For six summers I worked as an outdoor educator and adventure guide, leading groups of students through week long trips into the natural world. I believe in experience as the greatest teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

This is my first time tutoring professionally. However, it is not the first time I help others to learn. Even though I am only a college student (an English major, soon to be studying creative writing as a minor field), I have often volunteered at an elementary school in San Diego, where I worked with younger children.
