As the daughter of an educator, I not only grew up understanding that every child could learn, but that every child deserved a sincere smile. Working with preschoolers has certainly tested my patience at times but also has increased my understanding of how a child learns and challenged me to find different methods of explaining information. I earned my degrees in education from Ball State University. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement, M.A.E. degree, and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education with minors in the following: Learning Disabilities, Mildly Mentally Handicapped, Seriously Emotionally Handicapped.
