A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science with focus on the Microsoft languages (C++, C#, ASP, dotNEt, etc.) The requirements for this degree was heavy in math. I do, however, feel better qualified in verbal and writing skills. I also have a minor in Philosophy and Theology. This ties in with my High School and middle school upbringing, having attended a Catholic middle and High school as well as the University I attended being a Baptist school. My full time job (Monday - Friday mornings) is as a programmer, so my technical knowledge is always fresh in my mind.
My tutoring style is somewhat laid-back with serious undertones. A Little Bit About Me...

I love tutoring and mentoring kids, period. It's spiriturally rewarding to me as an adult to have a part in a child's development. I believe every child is special. There's is no doubt in my mind that if a tutor approach is based on patience, quality time and empathy, he or she will be successful and effective. A Little Bit About Me...

I attended the college of The Virgin Islands (presently University of the USVI) and graduated with a Bsc in Biology in 1986. While in college I became captivated with computers and programming. Since I already had a keen interest in electronics, I pursue job opportunities that were computer related after I graduated. As a result all my jobs were of a technical nature. My love for the Sciences has never diminished and I have kept up with Math and Science subjects to stay in tune. As a matter of fact I pass my GACE Biology I and II exams in 2007 even though I was fixing ATM for a living. If ask to, I am sure I can teach Algebra and trigonometry. I graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science TEchnology. I taught school for 5 years. Although i had my own classroom i was never certified since i didn't want to go back to school to take education clases.I have tutored students on all levels of mathematics since i have been in the 5th grade, from elementary on up to collegiate. I continute to do that now on my own time upon request.
