I implemented and maintained custom code for a number of clients, and I performd lead programmer functions and mentor others. Every few months I conducted "lunch and learns" for programmers and analysts. During these sessions I would describe what code was doing in a particular module. This would help them with their implementations.
I like to first show a basic example of the problem, then show how the problem can be solved. I will then show another example that is a little more involved. After this, I let the person being mentored try solving a similar problem.

Since acheiving my first accounting designation from the UK in 1991 I have taught accounting and Business Law to adults until 1998 when I migrated to the US. While here I was succesful in passing my CPA exams and I am now a member in good stabding with AICPA and Delaware Society of CPAs. I went to college and earned a BS in Biology always knowing that I would eventually teach the sciences.
