I have been a camp counselor, a high school and college teacher, a GED teacher for the Federal Bureau of prisons, and a life-long tutor and trainer. Accounting is one of my top subjects! I have over 30 years of Accounting experience in a Director of Finance or Controller position. Am presently working as a freelance accountant. If you are an accounting student majoring in Principles of Accounting and more advanced, but do not specialize in Cost Accounting or Taxes

I do not believe in lectures but in comparisons to real world and one on one discussions.
I have taught Accounting and Hospitality courses in two community colleges in Connecticut. I spent 11 years as a Controller in the Hospitality Industry working for 4 different hotel companies throughout the US specializing in building new and renovating older hotels. I then settled in CT and worked in the non profit field at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and then with the CT ST Dental Assoc. I also spent 4 tax seasons with a local CPA firm then decided to do freelance accounting. I work with different clients and help them with their accounting needs.
