Based on my experience, I believe that anyone has the capability to learn and expand their knowledge on a subject - if they put the work in. I graduated with a B.S. degree in Genetics from Iowa State University, with a minor in statistics, enabling me to gain an in depth understanding of science and mathematics. Science and technology do not have to be difficult or abstract. I know how to make Chemistry interesting and relevant to everyday life. If students need help with the math that is required for Chemistry, I know how to bring them up to speed. When students are willing to keep trying to learn, I will keep trying to help them.
