I have been a Substitute Teacher for the past two years. In addition, I have been a French tutor for roughly one year. Finally, I have spent time in France teaching English to high school students there.
My teaching style depends on what the student responds to. I begin with a basic approach. If I see they are more visual, I use flash cards with images. If I notice they are more conversational, I use speech repetition. I always try to make the material relevant to the student's life to make it more interesting for them. In addition, I always offer memorizing devices and strategies. I have had very good success with all of my students so far.
