A Little Bit About Me...

I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there. I have chosen to be a teacher because I believe I can make learning fun for my students. I like to relate subjects to each other so that students can see how everything is actually intertwined. I like to use direct instruction, cooperative learning, peer coaching, manipulatives, simulations, and technology. I believe that teachers need to use a variety of methods to facilitate learning. I believe that with my experience I can truly make a difference in the lives of students. I have excellent interpersonal skills and an extensive background in psychology that helps me understand my students.
