I enjoy working with children and adults and helping them discover the resources they have within them. My job as a teacher is to put myself out of work by providing my students with all the tools they need to become proficient, motivated self-learners. I believe we learn best by doing. I try to help my students reach for the information they need to solve a problem by pointing them to what they already know to begin tackling the problem. I love working with all types of people, as helping people is a great passion of mine. I find it effective to teach by relating to something that the person I am teaching really enjoys. For example if they love basketball, I may try to relate the subject to it, to make it easier to learn. I have a lot of patience and usually have no problem helping someone.
