For my degree I had to take a year of chemistry, which I immediately fell in love with, even though I had hated it in high school. I have always wanted to be a teacher, specifically to teach reading. I have tutored throughout high school, participated in the tutor reading program through Big Brothers Big Sisters in Schenectady, and I am just completing my first early literacy class at Saint Rose. I am almost halfway through my Masters in the art of teaching program and should be student teaching within the next year.
