My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : Before becoming a Certified Public Librarian, I greatly enjoyed working with children of all ages with different abilities in several acclaimed summer recreation camps and art class settings. I take the time needed to assess each student's learning styles and I am well versed in what works for students of each type (visual, oral, kinesthetic and their subcategories). I am patient and use the student's strengths to help them overcome their weaknesses. I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills.
