A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently attending Air Academy High School as a senior. My expected date of graduation is May 17, 2012. I am studying multiple core classes but take a special interest in English. I have taken multiple classes including grammar, writing, and everywhere in between. I have also taken an assortment of Math classes. Now I am currently taking Functions, Statistics, and Trig. My younger brother and I both have moderate ADHD. While this is technically not a disability it puts a strain on learning new subjects. Students need inspiration!.

I love discovering each individual student and the way to help them learn. My goal is to help students become inspired by their subject matter so that it can play a role in their lives as well as their test scores.
I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College. More About This Tutor...

I gradauted in 2008 with a Bachelors in Integrated Communication but have currently been working for about three years as Paralegal at a Law Firm in Denver, CO while also interning on the side at a start-up Social Media company. I will be leaving the Law Firm shortly in hopes of pursuing creative writing. While I have had the opportunity to do some writing at the Law Firm, it was, well obviously or not, not creative writing. The goal one day is to become a Copywriter or an author but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to teach others different writing styles. I am a huge believe in teaching as well as learning myself from others.
