Growing up in a family that did not value an education, I saw education as a way to make a better life for my self than gangs, drugs, and violence. I am the only one in my family to graduate from high school, then college. I firmly believe that education makes a person better by pursuing it. I achieved an Associates in Science, then two Bachelors of Science degrees. In addition, I earned various certifications in Environmental Health due to my job experiences. I have tutored many science classes, math, algebra, history, archery, martial arts, outdoor survival techniques and wildlife studies. I have also tutored students in the art of playing musical instruments.
