As a graduate of one of Illinois' top Teacher Colleges,I have been surrounded by some of the very best educators.They have driven me to attaiin a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a B.A in Music Education.In addition I have extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers, essays and reports in various areas of study.During the last ten years I have traveled throughout Europe and the United States as an Educator and Clinician. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught "Introduction to Business & Technology" since March, 2008 and was promoted to teaching two classes online in 8-week cycles as "adjunct professor" in mid-2010. I was promoted to "visiting professor" in 2011, and enjoy working with students who range broadly in ability. My greatest strength is in helping students to believe in their own ability through aspects of mentorship and encouragement. I find that a high quality education is attainable when there is close, effective student-teacher contact. Because each student has a unique personality and way he learns, I believe in making lesson plans that will draw in the different types of learners: hands on, experience, visual, and aural. When I teach individual students, I can find out what that student needs in order to learn the best, and I teach to her strengths and work through her weaknesses. All students deserve to understand what is going on in the classroom and I firmly believe in individual help. A Little Bit About Me...

When I am teaching I am very patient and try to organize the lesson or my assistance in steps. I'll have the child read the problem or question, ask what they know about it, see if they understand the question and proceed. The patient style helps me see what the student's strengths and weaknesses are so I know what they need to practice and focus on. If the child has multiple assignments or tasks I have them perform the more difficult ones first. Starting with the easy assignments may seem like it makes sense but I would prefer that the student have more energy for the tasks they'll have more difficulty with.
