Excellent Tutor

I believe that while students may forget specifics of what they are learning, they will never forget how teachers make them feel. I also belive that the best teachers are the ones that make themselves less needed the longer they teach specific studdents. I want to empower the students I teach to be able to learn and excell on their own in the future. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with children of all ages and am available for all subjects. My focus is teaching through discovery; whether by observation, research, or builiding upon previous knowledge. I believe all children need nurturing in academics and the biggest hurdle many face is self-confidence (or the lack of).
After teaching preschool age children for 5 years, I returned to school to pursue a BS in secondary Education with a concentration in political science. I graduated in 2007 after 3 years at Georgia Southern University. In 2008, my family and I moved to Wakulla County, FL. Here I began teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Wakulla Christian School. This year I moved into the 5th grade teacher position at WCS.
