I am currently working towards my MPA. I had academic scholarships to CBC and UCA and kept them the entire time. I have worked with children for over 10 years in different settings and teenagers. I have been a substitute various times and I am currently a part-time nanny/ tutor. I work well with children and love to see them learn and grow. I like to learn what works best for the individual. I have tutored many people in this subject and very comfortable with the material. I have been a tutor at UCA for about 2 years. I tutor mainly in math but I have experience with other subjects. I am a computer science major. I know how to use computer languages like Python, C++, HTML, and Assembly Language. I know how to use most of the Microsoft Office programs which include Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Word. I have a little experience with Access but I am not a pro in it.

While I was in High School I tutored Elementary students in reading, spelling, science and social studies in all grades. I also tutored high school students in English and math to pass school entry exams. I had a 100% passing rate! During my University career I tutored students in Micro and Macro Economics, all maths, Spanish and Machine Dynamics and Control. I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in.
