2 years ago when I quit teaching Spanish I thought I did not want to teach again, but when I was called upon to do a semester long subbing stint in a high school Emotionally Disturbed unit, all my original feelings for teaching came back. As a parent concerned about the condition of the public school system we decided to homeschool our last two children. I began teaching them in the first grade and have continued up to, and including, the present time. My son is now a high school freshman and my daughter is in the eighth grade.
