I volunteered my services when a few friends asked me if I could help them with their essays. I just basically edited their essays and told them a few things on how they could do better. I even helped someone with a resume that they were sending around to a few jobs. My friends thank me for all that I did to help them and they would usually help me in subjects that I was falling behind in, like Math for example. I loved helping them learn with subjects they have a hard time with and I loved learning with them. I help someone with learning disabilities how to spell since the learning part of her brain was fried. I also love helping her husband how to spell as well since he also has troubles with spelling. I was never amazing in school, but I recently got my GED and passed with amazing scores!!! I'm phenomenal at English, spelling, writing and anything in that category!! I quite enjoy science. I was never too good at math, but I like it for the most part and I can do the basics. History and social studies, I'm not too bad at. They are definitely not a strong subject of mine though. If you need help with any college schooling, I can't help you. But anything to do with the GED, I can!!

I love teaching kids. All kids can are different in the way they learn. you need to be able to recognize those kids who are auditory learners, and hands on learners and be able to make a good balance of both so both kids may benefit. I like to set goals for each tutor session weather it be something like learning the alphabet or knowing you first ten multiplication facts. You then need to set one long term goal for that child to reach. this way each day they feel as if they have succeeded and learned something. I hope i can be an educator who can make just a little difference in children's lives.

I taught labs and assisted students with understanding information in the subject areas of Microbiology, Human Anatomy, and Human Physiology. I held review sessions, created tests and quizzes, and met with students individually or in groups to answer questions, review tests, or improve study habits.
