I love hands-on activities and learning experiences that include technology. I also like to include activities that appeal to all types of learning styles. I have used and implemented Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences when planning and implementing lessons.
I Have been a teacher since 2002. I have had various experience in teaching students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, OCD, PDD, ODD, as well as other learning, social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I like to talk, talk and talk. That's the best way to learn a language.

A Little Bit About Me...

I taught Middle School band for 30 years in the public schools, followed by 9 years part-time at the respected Old Trail School in Bath, OH. My bands at Bolich Middle School in Cuyahoga Falls, OH received many "Outstanding" ratings at O.M.E.A. contests. I have also substituted in several local school districts for a wide variety of subjects, including Spanish and French. I believe that there is just not one way to teach because there are many different learning style.
