During my undergraduate career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I obtained a wealth of knowledge in the fields of math and science. I did this by striving for excellence in the classroom and participating in cutting edge research with professors in the Entomology and Organic Chemistry departments. My extensive knowledge of the subjects I’ve studied has allowed me to assist my friends in understanding complex and difficult problems. I enjoy teaching at the high school level because these kids are fun to teach. Every student has different needs and I try to meet these with various teaching styles. I find that a lot of students learn well when they are shown the information or how to do something, are lead through a process and then proceed to "teach" the process or information back to me.
