A Little Bit About Me...

Ever since I was little I loved helping other people with school. I spent my summer with my aunt teaching English to Spanish speaking natives and my cousins. Even though I can teach well with large groups I have always felt a child learns best one-on-one. It eliminates competition and helps the child develop confidence in himself and the desire to learn. I like to find the area where a child is struggling and come up with a creative fun way that allows them to learn but also the encourages them to continue working on their own when I am not there. I also believe that it is important to involve the family in order to help the child grow. Whether it is working with them or just encouraging their progress.
