A Little Bit About Me...

My entire life has been surrounded by both music and technology and I'm looking to share that with my students. Education has been a major focus of my life since I was in middle school and decided I wanted to be a teacher. In middle school and high school I worked one-on-one tutoring peers and younger children in all subjects. Throughout college I tutored in an after-school program and worked in an elementary school as an instructional assistant. Throughout my education, I've found that broad academic interests have led me to pursue a wide range of subjects simultaneously. My undergraduate degree is a double major in music and comparative religion, and my other coursework ranged from astronomy to constitutional law. I recognize with gratitude the manifold opportunities that were available to me, but the most important piece was taking ownership of my own education.
