From my many years of teaching experience, I have adopted a few different teaching styles due to the fact that every student learns differently. For instance, some students are very slow learners and some aren't, obviously; and so I may use a different approach based on the student(s) or class I happen to be teaching at the time. I taught high school for one year and middle school for a year and a half. I was certified to teach social studies 6-12, though I have let my certification expire. I have worked with middle school students for the past four years in an administrative and service capacity. I am an ex-Member of the Florida House of Representatives and have informally many students at the middle school level. My degree is is in Business, but my passion is social studies and reading.
