My education at NYU and my Bachelor of Science degree, gave me a solid foundation because I had the knowledge and confidence upon which to build my teaching career. The classes and student teaching experience exposed me to a wide range of teaching styles and demographics. After having my own family, my empathy and understanding of children increased in a positive way. I especially have enjoyed working with the developmentally disabled hand have helped them achieve goals that once seemed impossible to obtain. My people skills have kept me available to keep an open line of communication between the school and the family.

In having a bachelors degree in Psychology, I have been fortunate enough to have worked at various places, all in which have dealt with constant interaction with people. I have had a great deal of experience substitute teaching children, to waiting on the elderly at a Sunday brunch.
