My comments on tutoring Aerospace Engineering : My major is Engineering Physics at ERAU; this is like A.E. but more strenuous and space focused

I was raised on a farm in Iowa and attended school there until I was 13. In Zephyrhills, Fl, I was awarded valedictorian status for the class of '09. At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Daytona Beach, Fl, I am a senior in the Accelerated Master's of Science in Engineering Physics degree program. This is a rigorous five-year program and is focused upon the engineering and physics involved in space systems. I remain in the Honor's Program and on the Dean's List. Throughout my academic career, I have always enjoyed lending my help to fellow students.
In my experience as a student, I have often questioned the teaching methods of many teachers and professors. I sometimes realize more effective ways things could be explained, once I understand it. Being a first generation student, assisting students to achieve optimum academic excellence has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience. I have a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I have tutored college Mathematics and Physics for almost 2 years. I also have leadership experience as a former represantative in Student Goverment Association and resident advisor.
I'm a hardworking individual and I love to help. But I believe that help is a two way thing. I expect the student to help me identify her or his difficulty in a particular problem that way, I can help the student solve the problem and other problems that might arise.
