The first student I taught was in October 2012 while I was still employed by the University of Pittsburgh, School of Nursing- Center for Research & Evaluation, developing web and desktop applications to collect, manage, and transform research data, and working on obtaining my Master's degree. However, I have been tutoring full-time for 3 years. I have taught thousands of students, both in person and online. A Little Bit About Me...

Since earning my degree in Math in 1984, I have worked in the Software development field. The last 15 years I have been an independent consultant. I have 2 college age children and 2 elementary age twins. My college age children have both taken math through calculus so I have had many opportunities to tutor them over the years in advanced math. I also did formal math tutoring all through college. I am also a very good writer and would feel comfortable tutoring writing and reading. I have taught Sunday school for 4 years so I do have experience with creating curriculum and teaching in a class setting.
I have always loved to teach and have been told by my children that I should have been a teacher. When it comes to math I have found that most people who have trouble with math have simply missed some fundamental along the way.
