I love to incorporate a mix of slideshows and demonstratios in my teaching. I will begin the class with a quick icebreaker to initiate a conversation with my student. Following that, there will be a quick recap on the previous week's lesson, along with a 5 minute exercise. Next, the main objective of the current week will be covered. I am a fan of teaching people who are eager and willing to learn. If a person actually wants to learn, then the trick is merely to be patient, build up a persons confidence, and try as many angles as possible until you find the right one that clicks with how they best learn and are able to understand. Fundamental to the learning process however is in having a student actually do for themselves, rather than merely watch someone else, and work through the steps in a supportive environment.
