I generally give an assessment to find out about individual student needs. When working with younger students, I usually plan a series of activities, and learning games to help reinforce learning. I then was hired right out of college to teach 5th grade in Arizona which I did for two years. I then transferred to third grade and began my masters program in reading. I have an anticipated graduation in May of 2010. I hvae tutored students all three years in various subjects.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching Reading Strategies and Basic Math at a community college for approximately 10 years. I have also taught pre-school, 3rd/4th in one classroom, and 5th, the last 2 classrooms were self-contained. I have experience in substitute teaching on various levels in a variety of school corporations. I also taught one year of elementary art for a parochial school.
