I am a Ph.D. student in biology at Texas A&M University. I have a bachelors degree in both psychology and biology. I have my master's degree in Neurobiology. I have been teaching at the college level for 4.5 year. I love helping students understand concepts that seem 100% foreign to them. I teach mostly geared towards visual learners. I tend to use visual and real life examples to push my students to grasp the concepts for themselves. I prefer to make them do the work and answer questions as we move forward. I do not believe students should just be given answers. They should be given the tools to answer the questions for themselves.
I have taught for 3 years at Sam Houston State University for the Department of Chemistry. As a high school student I tutored off and on for around 4 years. I am currently working on my Master's in chemistry at SHSU.
