Learning needs to be enjoyable. When students enjoy what they are learning, that means that they are engaged in what they are learning. When students are engaged, they can better grasp the concepts being taught. I make sure to get to know my student's interests so that I can relate what they are learning to situations that happen in their own lives. I have an Associates in Arts and Teaching degree from Leeward Community College on O'ahu.
